2015 #LondonCalling day 25 Tillmounth Park

Dopo aver lasciato York siamo partiti in direzione Scozia !

…un lungo viaggio. Meglio fare una tappa, soprattutto se con dei bambini… Inizialmente volevo fermarmi ad Edinburgo ma, visti i tanti festival in questo periodo e non essendomi io organizzata per tempo, ho rinunciato. Girando nel web ho trovato un sito con alloggi wow: castelli, cottage, … insomma un sogno. Ho così deciso di sostituire la tappa ad Edinburgo con una notte in una residenza da sogno: Tillmouth Park Country House.

…a long journey. Better to make a stop, especially when travel with children …  I wanted to stop in Edinburgh but, as there are many festivals in this period and I Have not organized the trip in advanced I gave up. In the web I found a web site with accommodation wow: castles, cottages, …  a dream !!  So I decided to change the visit to Edinburgh with a night in a dream home: Tillmouth Park Country House.

Ho passeggiato nel parco intorno alla villa

I walked in the park around the house

Ho cenato e fatto colazione in quel tavolo al centro dellastanza

I had dinner and breakfast in the table in the middle of this room

 
Ma c’è chi ha avuto un tavolo ancora migliore…

But someone had even a better table… 

Ho dormito in un letto a baldacchino in una stanza con le tende a fiori e la carta da parati

I slept in a canopy bed in a room with flowery curtains and wallpaper

  
  
Sono stata seduta in questo salotto sognando la vita di un tempo 

I been sit in this living room dreaming the daily life of the past 

  
   Ho guardato i miei ragazzi giocare a biliardo

I looked my boys play at billiards 

   
Una casa da sogno. Per me che sogno le dimore storiche, che le vado a cercare e visitare. Viverla è stato realizzare un sogno.

This house is a dream. For me that I dream historic houses, that I’m go to search and visit them. Stay in this house it’s been a dream become true.
