Io e la mia tazza siamo state in Kensington Park Road da Shabby Chic Couture di Rachel Ashwell.
Uno degli store di una catena nata in California alla fine degli anni ’80.
Mobili, complementi e tessuti
tutto in stile Shabby Chic.
Le ragazze mi hanno lasciato fotografare liberamente, grazie 🙂

Me and my cup we went in Kensington Park Road in Rachel Ashwell Shabby Chic Couture store.
One of the stores of a chain founded in California in the late ’80s.
Furniture, accessories and fabrics
all in Shabby Chic style.

Day 19. Post 3. Laduree

Oggi ho esagerato: dopo il cup cake anche 3 macarons…
Ero a Covent Garden.
Ho realizzato che non avevo mai assaggiato i macarons di Laduree
Dovevo rimediare, no? Sia mai …
Come sono? Si sono sciolti appena li ho messi in bocca…. Incredibili….

Today I exaggerated: after the cup cake I had 3 macarons …
I was in Covent Garden when I realized that I had never tasted Laduree’s macarons.
I had to try it, right?
How are they? They dissolved as soon as I put them in my mouth…. Incredible…

Dusty Fingers

Oggi c’è stato il primo appuntamento di un nuova serie di eventi per gli amanti del Vintage.
Billetto è una piattaforma che permette di scoprire i migliori eventi a Londra. Gli utenti possono create e promuovere eventi, e vendere biglietti tramite il sito. Dusty Fingers è un mercato vintage che si svolgerà regolarmente il primo martedì di tutti i mesi : un night vintage market… che bell’idea!!
Apre alle 2,30 e va avanti fino alle 9
Finalmente si può andare all’apertura di un mercato ed accapparrarsi i pezzi migliori senza dover fare una levataccia 🙂
Oggi a Dusty Fingers c’era di tutto: abbigliamento, dischi in vinile, mobili, ceramiche, vetri, bigiotteria, giocattoli, libri, curiosità, ….
Anche dei cup cakes che avevano un aspetto delizioso ma purtroppo non ho avuto il tempo di assaggiare…
Un’altra bella novità per questo genere di eventi è che con l’ingresso era compreso un drink.
La Billetto è un’organizzazione giovane e già al primo appuntamento ha dimostrato una ventata di freschezza nel mondo polveroso del vintage/antiquariato.
Complimenti ragazze, avete già dimostrato di essere sulla buona strada.
E ve lo dico come antiquaria: frequento mercati di antiquariato da vent’anni e quello di cui ha bisogno questo settore è giovani con iniziative al passo con i nostri tempi come state facendo voi.

Dusty Fingers is a vintage market which will be held regularly on the first Tuesday of every month: it is a vintage night market … great idea!
From 2.30 to 9 p.m. so you can go to the opening of the market to pick up a bargain without having an early start.
Today at Dusty Fingers i saw: clothing, vinyl records, furniture, homeware, kitchenalia, jewelery, toys, books, ….
I also saw some cup cakes that looked delicious but unfortunately I didn’t have time to try them….
Good news: the entrance price including a drink!
The Billetto is a young organization which is a breath of fresh air in the dusty world of vintage and antiques.
Congratulations girls, you have started in a good way.
And I’ll tell you as an antique dealer: I have attended antique markets for twenty years and I feel that this area needs young ideas like yours.
