Day 26. Post 2

Anthropologie in King’s Road
Un concept store.
Abbigliamento e …

A concept store.
Clothes and … Many things…

… but I’m crazy for this store since the first time I came to London 20 years ago.
Then it was an Antique Center.
The Antiquarius.
Full of fantastic objects and jewelery.
Expensive prices.
But I no longer saw the quality, now there are no more of these kind of items in the antique shops/fair/auction…

No Ritz, shame.

I asked at The Ritz if I can go there…
The Ritz doesn’t want my cup and saucer 😦

Dear Chiara,

Greetings from The Ritz London. I hope this email finds you well. Many thanks for your email and your approach. Given The Ritz London’s reputation for Afternoon Tea, the visual image of our tea service is an integral aspect of our brand. Therefore, to promote someone drinking tea/coffee in The Ritz but from a cup and saucer that is not our own I feel undermines our brand somewhat. Therefore, please accept my apologies but we are unable to accommodate this request.

All the best,
